African Goddess of Wisdom. borrowed from- .

Poetry By Sally Kahiu

Mother of dreams,
Mother of sounding bells and founding wells,
Mother of spirits
Mother of Tuscan winds and African seas

Dispenser of wiles,
Song of the Bhagavan and of Solomon
Bearer of burning wombs,
Voice of Wadd’s rattle and god’s mantle

Whisper of Shebah,
Tides of Ymoja and blue of the water
Whisper of one,
Nurturer of beings and beginnings.
